Plan Ahead
Book Warner Bros tickets 3+ weeks ahead
Warner Bros. Studio Tour London is one of the UK's most popular attractions and regularly sells out — especially during school holidays, Easter, and summer. To avoid disappointment (and higher last-minute prices), secure your timed-entry tickets at least three weeks in advance. If you're flexible on dates, midweek slots tend to have better availability. Check the official site for any early-bird discounts and combo packages that bundle parking or a Butterbeer at the Studio café.
Timing is Everything
Legoland is best on weekday mornings
The gates open at 10am but the real magic happens in that first 90 minutes before the crowds arrive. On a Tuesday or Wednesday morning in term time, you can ride The Dragon, Driving School, and Ninjago The Ride with virtually no wait. By noon, queues for top attractions can stretch to 45–60 minutes. Aim to arrive 15 minutes before opening and head straight for the most popular rides first, then circle back to the building zones and live shows in the afternoon when older queue-jumpers are already heading home.

Bring your own food to cut costs
On-site food at both Warner Bros. Studio Tour and Legoland Windsor is undeniably convenient but can easily add £15–25 per person to your day out. Both venues allow guests to bring a packed lunch — Legoland has dedicated picnic areas just outside the main gates where families can eat without having to leave the park. Pack a cool bag with sandwiches, fruit, and plenty of water (reusable bottles are welcome at water refill stations).
